Your journey begins before you land.

Every retreat we offer is a container, not just eight or nine days in beautiful location, but a process that begins the moment you say yes and continues long after you return home.

The deeper you arrive, the deeper the experience can go. And the more supported you feel after, the more lasting the change becomes.

This page is for participants who want to make the most of the full arc of their journey.

Personal preparation and integration sessions

Sometimes the most important work happens in the weeks before a retreat and the weeks after it. A conversation with Cindy or Marco can help you arrive more grounded, clear, and open, and help you weave what you experienced into the fabric of your daily life afterwards.

These sessions are offered in packages of three or more and can be used before the retreat, after, or both.

WHAT THE SESSIONS SUPPORT

•       Preparing emotionally and mentally before the journey

•       Clarifying your intentions: what you are really seeking

•       Navigating life transitions or inner themes already in motion

•       Grounding and integrating insights after you return

•       Bringing the experience into everyday life in a lasting way

The sessions are personal, intuitive, and tailored to where you are. No agenda imposed, just honest, experienced guidance.

Self-guided preparation

for women

The Temple Codes

Created by Cindy Lobo, The Temple Codes is a self-paced embodiment journey for women. Through guided practices, movement, reflection, and ritual, it supports you in reconnecting with your body, your inner safety, and your feminine wisdom before you arrive in Tanzania.  Many women find this a gentle and powerful way to begin softening into the deeper layers of the retreat experience, arriving already a little more open, a little more themselves.

The Medicine: Personal Tales of Awakening and Inner Transformation

Written by Cindy Lobo, The Medicine is a deeply personal collection of stories about transformation, surrender, awakening, and the search for something real. Through her own encounters with ancient wisdom, Cindy offers an intimate glimpse into the inner journey that inspired these retreats.  For participants joining Meet the Wisdomkeepers in particular, reading this book beforehand often helps you arrive more connected to the spirit of the retreat, emotionally open, curious, and ready to be moved.

Available in English and Dutch.

We are preparing a set of free downloadable resources for retreat participants: different exercises to support your inner preparation before arrival.

It is designed to help you arrive with more clarity and openness, connected to your intentions and already listening to what wants to unfold.
